At Pelican Orthotics and Prosthetics, we offer a variety of prefabricated and custom orthoses (orthopedic braces) for patients of all ages as part of a patient’s treatment process. We treat patients with traumatic injuries, long-term impairments, and pre-or post-surgical conditions by designing a custom device to be added to the body in order to stabilize or immobilize a body part, prevent deformity, protect against injury, or assist with function. Orthoses may be used on various areas of the body including the upper and lower limbs, spinal or cranial.
